Donnie Does get a great taste of the passion for hurling from the sidelines at Gaelic Park, New York

Not long after Sports Illustrated named a save in a game of hurling to be their sporting moment of the weekend and the Irish sport is continuing its well-deserved rise in stature around the world, these being featured once again on Barstool Sports in an episode of “Donnie Does.”

While Donnie had previously had a crack at hurling while visiting Ireland in June, this time around he got a taste of the amazing hurling and GAA community that also exists in the US, visiting the home of GAA in New York: Gaelic Park in the Bronx.

Talking to the fans and the players, not only did Donnie get another slice of the skill involved in the sport, he witnessed the craic and fun that comes with the community that’s built around it and fiery tempers that come with the competition.

For anyone who hasn’t yet visited Gaelic Park, this is sure to send it to the top of your list for a fun day out.
