“Terminator” actor Christopher Lawford is said to have died of natural causes after suffering a medical emergency in a yoga studio on Tuesday evening.

Actor Christopher Lawford, the nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy and US Senator Bobby Kennedy, has died of natural causes aged 63. He is believed to have passed away on Tuesday evening having suffered a medical emergency in a yoga studio.

Active with the Democratic National Committee and having had worked for his uncle Senator Ted Kennedy, Lawford began acting in the 80s, starring in General Hospital," "Terminator 3," "All My Children," "Fraiser" and various other TV series.

Having suffered from addiction through the 70s and 80s, he decided to go to rehab after his cousin David Kennedy died of an overdose in 1984.

Lawford is survived by his three children and his widow Mercedes Miller, a yoga teacher who he married in 2014.

On Tuesday, his cousin, RFK’s daughter Kerry Kennedy, shared a tweet morning his loss. Lawford was the son of Patricia Kennedy, sister to JFK and RFK. 

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death, although sources say it was of natural causes.
