3 Father McSweeney Terrace is just 18 km from Cork International Airport and within 1km of the town centre, which includes a number of renowned cafés, restaurants, bars, golf clubs, and more.

The sale is being handled by Bowe Property, who say: "Properties in such a location are very rare offerings and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a property in one of Kinsale’s most special and loved locations."

The asking price for the 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom Cork accommodation is €1,350,000.

Crazy House Prices’ Ciarán Mulqueen took to Instagram, noting that the house was "probably the most expensive house ever seen in Ireland."

He added: "This could be one of the most expensive houses in the world. I’m not sure."

Fellow social media users took to the comments to have their say, with one wondering: "Is the ocean behind it included in that price?"

Another added: "Looking at this house on Daft, it’s been done as a pure holiday home. I wonder do the current owners even live in the country?"

A third wrote: "Wise up Ireland. Absolute nonsense."
