Natter podcast hosts, Kate Durrant and Michelle McDonagh.Natter

IrishCentral is teaming up with hit Irish books podcast "Natter with Kate and Michelle" to share inspiring conversations with some of today’s most captivating authors. This new partnership will bring the warmth, wit, and storytelling magic of "Natter" to IrishCentral’s global community of readers and book lovers.

The popular podcast launches season four in September with the global bestselling author of "The Tattooist of Auschwitz", Heather Morris, who will be chatting to Kate and Michelle about her new book. "The Wish" is a heartbreaking contemporary novel about a dying teenager’s final wish, a lonely young man’s journey towards connection, and the unexpected friendship they find together.

Heather will be followed by a fortnightly release of interviews with fabulous, inspirational and thought-provoking authors of new fiction and non-fiction books.

The two Irish writers behind the podcast – which charted at number two in the Apple Irish book podcast last year – live, where else, but Blarney, the undisputed home of the gift of the gab.

While neither best-selling author Michelle McDonagh or award-winning writer and radio columnist Kate Durrant will confirm or deny kissing the Blarney Stone, it’s safe to say that neither of them are short of a few words.

The podcast, which is broadcast in association with Bookstation, Ireland’s fastest growing bookseller, are passionate about words and stories, and to date have nattered with fabulous guests including Jeanine Cummins, Lynda La Plante, Christine Dwyer Hickey, Edel Coffey, Andrea Mara, Roisin Meaney, Anne Tiernan, and many more.

“Ireland is a nation of storytellers, and 'Natter' is all about telling some of these stories. We all have our own stories, told and untold, and we all love to hear other peoples’ too. Roisin Meaney’s unresolved grief over the death of her brother, Jeanine Cummins on the traumatic impact of the 'American Dirt' controversy and Siobhan MacGowan on the loss of her brother Shane, are just three of the moving stories that our guests have been generous enough to share with us,” Kate said.

Michelle adds: “More people than ever are listening to podcasts, more people than ever are buying books and more people than ever are looking for escapism. We are thrilled to be partnering with IrishCentral, a platform with such a large and deeply engaged Irish diaspora, and we look forward to sharing the powerful stories that our guests share with us to this audience.”

Kate Hickey, the CEO of IrishCentral.com said of the new partnership "At IrishCentral, we know the power a great book has to connect people. In fact, our monthly Facebook Book Club, with over 9,500 members from all corners of the globe. Partnering with 'Natter' allows us to bring those conversations to life in a whole new way, giving our community the chance to hear directly from the incredible authors shaping today’s literary landscape."

"Storytelling is at the heart of Irish culture, and the Natter podcast captures that magic brilliantly — with warmth, wit, and a generosity of spirit that makes every listener feel part of the conversation. We’re excited to bring these rich, thought-provoking author interviews to our readers and to continue building a space where stories are shared, celebrated, and passed on."
