A farmer in Northern Ireland says his livelihood was saved by HBO’s hit series The Game of Thrones

Kenny Gracey raises traditional breed animals native to the British Isles, such as long-horn cattle, Jacob sheep and saddleback pigs, on Forthill Farm in County Armagh. He says his farm was struggling when producers of the television show approached him and asked him to supply the animals needed for the series.

Gracey says the offer was a “godsend.”

Except for the horses, all of the animals featured on The Game of Thrones come from Gracey’s farm.
