Saying cheers with a round of Guinness.

The "mid-sized brewery" and "innovation microbrewery" will focus on brewing beers specifically targeted for the U.S. market, like Guinness Blonde and Guinness IPA which have been launched in recent years. They'll be serving 16 beers on tap, including favorites from Dublin and brand new beers brewed on premises.

The Guinness brewery and restaurant is located on a 62-acre site, which formerly housed a Seagram’s bottling plant. Diageo already owned the property, using it for bottling and aging Captain Morgan rum products, according to the outlet.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House will also create 200 new jobs in brewing, warehousing, packaging, and customer service.

It is anticipated that up to 300,000 people will visit the location annually, for tours, taproom tastings, and dining in the 270-seat restaurant.

The brewery will open today at 3pm, with the restaurant set to open later in August. A bar menu will be available in the meantime, and food trucks on the weekends.

Hours will be 3pm - 9pm Monday through Friday, and 12pm - 9pm Saturday and Sunday.
