Cha Cha Cha-ing! Maura Higgins is going to be dancing all the way to the bank after her stint on DWTS.
The Longford beauty has been partnered with Mark Ballas, professional dancer and son of Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas, and they stand a very good chance.
It's been reported that Maura will bank a huge £280k (€326k) if she makes the final stages of "Dancing with the Stars," which kick, ball, changes off on September 15.
Even if she gets kicked out in the first two weeks, she'll still walk away with £93k (€108k). DWTS is believed to employ a special sliding contract where salaries increase every two weeks.
They start with £93k (€108k), then celebs that make it to weeks three and four get an additional £7k (€8k) per week.
In week five, it's an additional £11k (€12.8k), while weeks six and seven bring an additional £15k (€17.4k).
Those who last until weeks eight and nine receive an extra £22k (€25.6k) per week, and making the semi-finals and finals reportedly adds another £37k (€43k) onto the payslip.
Variety has reported that the total is capped at £280k (€326k). Though that's not a bother for Maura, who recently landed the hosting gig for the Blind Date reboot — she's raking it in!
A source told The Sun: "'Dancing With The Stars' pays tremendously well, but the boost to a celebrity’s profile goes beyond even the pay cheque from the network.
"Maura is already known in the US thanks to her role on The Traitors US, but this will take her into every sitting room in the States. Her earning power will now be off the charts."
