Best known to global audiences for her chilling turn as the ambitious Imperial officer "Dedra Meero" in Disney+’s "Star Wars: Andor", Gough has revealed she is joining the cast of Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated reboot of "The Chronicles of Narnia" for Netflix.
Speaking on the podcast "We’re Not Kidding" with Mehdi & Friends, Gough confirmed she will appear in Gerwig’s upcoming adaptation of "The Magician’s Nephew", teasing that her role will likely be a villainous one.
"I’m doing a film with Greta Gerwig called 'Narnia'. I’m playing someone mean in that, but it’s fine, it’s to children, it’s okay," she said with a laugh.
Gerwig, fresh off her Oscar-nominated smash "Barbie", is confirmed to write and direct the first two films in Netflix’s relaunch of C.S. Lewis’ beloved series.
The first installment is slated for a cinematic release on November 26, 2026 before arriving on the streamer. Filming has already begun in London.
The ensemble cast is shaping up to be star-studded.
