Irish music is renowned around the world. From U2 to Enya everyone has an opinion on Irish music. In celebration of Irish tunes and the fact that Billboard Hot 100 chart is celebrating its 55th year we took a look at Ireland’s most successful Irish musicians of all time.

The Billboard Hot 11 is the American music industry standard popularity chart for singles. This list was compiled by Billboard this St. Patrick’s Day to take a look at the “Top 10 Irish Artists ranking is based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart, dating to the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958, inception.”

And what an amazing list is is...even if we do say so!
