The Great Wall of China typically goes Irish once per year, as one of the famous monuments that participates in Tourism Ireland’s global greening St. Patrick’s Day initiative.

Even though we’re still about half a year away from St. Patrick’s Day, there were some exciting Irish happenings at the Great Wall recently as four Irish dancers treated visitors to a performance.

To the delight of onlookers, Jack Quinn, Aideen O'Connell, Eimear O'Connell, and Jordan McCormick put on a fierce display as Eddie Kavanagh played the bodhrán with Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín on the fiddle.

The group was in China for a special week of Irish music and dance organized by Culture Ireland.

Fusion Fighters, the popular Irish dance company behind a number of Irish dance flash mobs and viral videos, shared the footage of the Great Wall of China performance.

Well done, all!
