Tourism Ireland has produced a colorful new video with a few suggestions about what to do around Dublin Bay.

Most tourists who visit the Irish capital stick around the city center, visiting such historic locations as the General Post Office where the Easter Rising was fought or the ancient grounds of Trinity College.

Those who don’t venture far are missing out on the many gems along the Dublin coastline.

The Howth cliff walks offers dramatic views out over the Irish Sea and it starts only a short train ride away from the city center.

Killiney Beach’s pristine white sand means that on a sunny day you could be forgiven for thinking you were sunning yourself by the Mediterranean.

Sandycove’s 40 Foot is another recommendation: for a quarter of millennium Dubliners have used the cove to bathe in the Irish Sea and the place features in countless books, movies and songs about life in the capital.

Dún Laoghaire harbor is another crowd puller: packed with boats, thousands of people flock there every year so they can sail out in the sea.

But don’t take our word for it! Watch the video and see for yourself:
