Pope Francis (on the Pope mobile) arrives at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral in Dublin with Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, during the first day of his visit to Ireland Rollingnews.ie

Thousands of people lined the streets of Dublin to get a glimpse of Pope Francis on his way to St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, where he talked to couples about marriage.

The pope, riding the famous Pope mobile, made his way through the crowded streets of the capital. Along with supporters of the pope, protesters were also in the crowd.

Pope Francis then made his way to the Day Centre for Homeless Families of the Capuchin Fathers.

The pope will address 70,000 people tonight in Croke Park for the World Meeting of Families.
