The amazing Irish dance troupe Fusion Fighters made a stunning return to the World Irish Dance Championship last week, bringing the house down with their fancy footwork.

This was the third year in a row that the amazing Irish dance group had been asked to perform at the World's, which took place this year in Glasgow, Scotland.

Featuring the cast of Fusion Dance Fest 2017, the Fusion Fighters led the way in very appropriate tartan and kilt outfits for their Scottish setting. Musicians Benedict Morris and Aisling Parslow were also alongside while Brian McGrane Music Ft. Ciara Murphy was responsible for the music.

And here's a look back at their 2017 performance:

And from 2016:

After the success of their Fusion Dance Fest in 2017, the Fusion Fighters will be returning the festival in summer 2018, an “annual International dance camp for aspiring professional Irish dancers to learn from some of best choreographers and leaders in the world.”

“The eight-day long dance fest is anchored with traditional Irish dance forms but also introduces a variety of Irish show styles, body percussion, tap dance, contemporary, sean nos & hip-hop into the mix,” the Fusion Fighters state.

“Dancers will get to work alongside our experienced faculty for eight days of workshops, seminars, video projects, evening events and culminating in a student showcase at the Millennium Theatre in Limerick and trip to the Fleadh Cheoil.”
