Dairy Queen launch new rival to McDonald's Shamrock Shake

The new Mint Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen is already the best thing about St Patrick’s Day 2018.

Are you all set for the March St. Patrick’s Day blizzard? No, this time we’re not talking about Storm Emma and the Beast from the East but the delicious new Irish mint green Oreo Blizzard option available at Dairy Queen.

McDonald’s has previously owned the markets in terms of seasonal St Paddy’s Day beverages in March with their Shamrock Shake but we can see the new Mint Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen quickly becoming a new favorite.

Doubling our choices for a green-tinged drink this March 2018 (we don’t count green beer among these choices, obviously), the Mint Oreo Blizzard will be available for a limited time only (i.e. only in the Month of March) in participating Dairy Queen locations.

While the drink does seem quite similar to a Shamrock Shake, Oreo Mint fans will welcome that extra addition?
