U2’s Edge thankfully not injured in Vancouver first gig for Irish band’s new tour.

The Edge fell off the stage at the opening concert for U2’S new tour last night in Vancouver .

Luckily the U2 star was unhurt despite the fall, which happened when he missed his footing walking down a long pathway.

The guitar player took to Instagram to reassure fans that he was fine after the embarrassing incident.

The fall comes after a much more serious mishap to Bono, who was badly injured when he was in a bike collision in Central Park last year.

The Irish Independent called the show “ a resounding success, boasting stages at either end of the arena and a new sound and video system which ensures everyone can see and hear the band at their best.”
