In a moment that made local headlines, and a few parish WhatsApp groups, the star bought a humble lotto ticket from Glin GAA club. Now, nearly seven years later, Irish Swifties are convinced that the numbers she picked weren’t just random at all, but a cryptic breadcrumb trail to her next album.

Hugh Dunne, the club member in charge of the lotto, told the Mirror back in 2023 that Swift still enters "from time to time" but hasn’t yet bagged the jackpot.

That hasn’t stopped fans from poring over a photo of her original ticket, which, they insist, features a date in 2025 — and possibly, a pop music plot twist.

This theory has only been amplified by the announcement of Swift’s 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, this week, with many theorizing that she was leaving us easter eggs towards the release as early as 2018.

"I’ve been waiting nearly 7 years for this to mean something," TikTok user hanna_ellena wrote, alongside an image of the ticket.

"In 2018, Taylor Swift bought a lotto ticket in Glin, Ireland — numbers: 10, 18, 20, 25. She didn’t win then… but what if 10•18•25 is the real jackpot?" the TikToker added, with fans wondering if this could be a potential lead.

"And I’m just saying the album colors are orange and green," one commenter suggested, in reference to the Irish flag.

"Maybe something is coming out on that day?" another added, while a third noted that Swift didn’t choose her heavily publicized lucky number 13.

Taylor, you truly are a mastermind.
