Will Brendan Murray claim the big prize?

Brendan Murray from Co Galway has made it to the semi-finals of the UK talent competition show X-Factor.

It was revealed on November 17th's live show that Murray would be joining six other contestants on the second-to-last live show for this season.

Murray shared his thrill on Twitter and thanked his fans:

On X-Factor, Murray is part of former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson’s team. Tomlinson and the rest of One Direction, including Irish man Niall Horan, came in third during the 2010 season of X-Factor. The boyband later shot to worldwide fame.

Murray hails from Tuam in Galway and is no stranger to live performances. He represented Ireland during the 2017 Eurovision contest, and he was also a member of the Irish boyband Hometown.
