A group of contemporary Irish dancers have created a fundraising campaign in reaction to the attacks by Daesh on Paris, which killed 125 people and injured more than 350.

Fusion Fighters, a group of Irish dancers based in Britain, called upon dancers around the world to make their own videos and donate to the Croix-Rouge française (the French Red Cross) to support their Dance4France campaign.

The idea came from Chris Naish and Conor Ryan who aim to use the network of Irish dancers around the world to raise money for the cause.

On Facebook their posted the following message along with their video, which has racked up over 95k views so far:

“We have all toured extensively in France and so it felt personal for us to help them out. In saying that, step by step we would love to help support the victims of these tragedies around the World through dance and help make the world a better place. A good place for us to start anyway and the campaign has got off to a flying start!”
