Why can't we just all get along.....I know that is so simplistic but wouldn't that be nice.
Loved to see the sea- the Irish Sea as well as Atlantic. We went fishing on every trip an caught loads of fish. Stayed at Abbeyglen Castle, brought home our catch and Paul who is in charge made an elaborate display of Irish and American flags at our table, and we ate our own fish which was prepared in many ways with different sauces. Then we sang songs in the pub and danced - especially after a drink of Midleton.
Stayed here as well- beautiful grounds, great music in the pub, fabulous food and the amenities in the rooms were outstanding. We went to town and walked through the city shopping. Ahhhh one day I will return.
Have never been there to Clontarf- tell me more about it. I have spoken of Ireland so often at work there is a group of 10 going this spring/summer and I have provided them with maps, brochures of places and web sites as well (this one is included).
Bunratty was more Irish traditional- not fancy but very interesting. Only in Ireland on 4 occasions (total of over 30 some days) and went east to west through the south and saw the usual places- kissed the Blarney Stone, shopped at traditional places and wear nothing but Irish jewelry.
Saw this picture of Ashford and remembered how much fun it was to stay there with 3 other very close couples. The food, entertainment, service, decor of rooms and service were outsdtanding. I loved the picture gallery of the famous people (other than myself) who have visited there. My dream is to one day return. I wear Inis every day-ergo- the Inis2228
I have been there and can't wait to go back.
This is castle is incredibly beautiful. I can see myself living there. lol
Fun to see places I've been on this prestigious list! wish I could have dual citizenship; my mother has it, but she's last in the line from her grandparents.
Through my father I can have dual citizenship. I love New York and America but Ireland is always so beautiful. I would love to go all these places. It made my day.
