A new iPhone app promises to take the hard work out of choosing an Irish name for your new baby. The app, called O'Baby Baby, lists more than 400 Irish girls and boys names and also includes audio clips which pronounce the words for you.

Cowen Replaces Ahern as Prime Minister

Brian Cowen has replaced Bertie Ahern as leader of the Fianna Fil party. The Laois-Offaly Dil deputy also assumed the office of Taoiseach when Ahern stood down on May 6 following his address to the joint Houses of Congress in Washington, D.C.

ON Wednesday, Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Brian Cowen announced a series of contracts between several Enterprise Ireland clients and their U.S. customers totaling more than $18 million at a breakfast at the New York Stock Exchange.
