Robbie Keane added a third goal for ireland in the second half to secure an unimpressive 3-1 win against one of the weakest sides in nternational football from a country of only 83,000 people.

Andorra scored a shock goal before half time to trail Ireland by 2-1 at the interval in the European Championship qualifying game in Dublin.

Ireland had gone ahead after sixteen minutes when Kevin Kilbane headed home a corner kick.

Soon after Kevin Doyle added a second with a thunderous shot from 30 yards.

I read where there were over 40,000 people, paying I guess an average of $75 per head, at that game in Dublin. How can we take talk of an Irish economy in crisis seriously? 40, 000 go to watch one of the worst teams in the word? And pay 75 bucks and upwards? Is there any other country in the world where Andorra playing the national selection would attract 40K? No way. The folks who went to that game in Dublin have more money than sense.
In comparison to Scotland, this was a very impressive result. Using similar stats as Sean - Scotland played a country with a population of 35,000. There were more Scotsmen in Hampden, than the population of Liechtenstein. Scotland won with a goal in the NINETY-SEVENTH minute.
