Advance Shownotes
I have completed my interview sessions with the Spencer Research Library at K.U. in Lawrence, Kansas. Yes, that's Lawrence, Kansas. Home of the top Irish collection outside of Ireland. The only home of the O'Hegarty collection in the world. (opposing viewpoints will be accepted - but proof is required).
Four Episodes
Shows #200 - 204, will be on the Irish resources at K.U. . That sets a record for number of shows on a subject, but it is justified. The details will come as a surprise to many.
O'Hegarty Collection
Briefly put, "25,000 items were obtained from P. S. O'Hegarty, with incredible depth in Irish literature, history and politics, including periodicals and ephemera." (This does not include their collections of Joyce and Yeats). Some items are not to be found in Ireland. Researchers have already started to arrive from the far points of the globe.
