Witchcraft tape may sink Christine O'Donnell in Delaware senate race

A tape showing Delaware senate candidate Christine O'Donnell talking about her dabbling in witchcraft will surely be the hardest development for her right wing coalition to accept.

It is one thing to be against masturbation, it is quite another to admit that you took part in pagan rituals and attended a picnic on a Satanic altar.

Irish American O'Donnell has now admitted in an old clip from comedian Bill Maher's program -- of all places-- that she took part in witchcraft rituals.

Quite how this will play out in Tea Party America is not clear, but it certainly adds an interesting kooky edge to a character who probably had too many already.

The remarkable clip – which was aired this weekend – has rocked the campaign of the conservative politician, a new darling of the Tea Party movement and Sarah Palin.

One can only imagine their reaction to the following words spoken by O'Donnell

"I dabbled into witchcraft - I never joined a coven. But I did, I did. ... I dabbled into witchcraft,” Miss O’Donnell said,

“I hung around people who were doing these things. I'm not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do.

"One of my first dates with a witch was on a Satanic altar, and I didn't know it. I mean, there's a little blood there and stuff like that. ... We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a Satanic altar."

O’Donnell has now cancelled Sunday morning appearances on two major political television shows as this new controversy swirls.

Just late last week O'Donnell had told a crowd of cheering conservatives that "They call us wacky, they call us wingnuts. We call us, we the people," she said to cheers.

Whether the people will accept witchcraft remains to be seen however.

Lad, if I had my way there would be capital punishment for corrupt politicians, it is treason to abuse the citizens trust. A public post should be considered a sacred honor. Orinary citizens get sent to war and death, get imprisoned if they violate the law or don't pay taxes, yes the politicians have a lot of responsibility and if they abuse that responsibility, lives are ruined and people die.

So Moonsoonman O'Donnell will do until she crosses the line after all her history to date is not squeaky clean. Will you imprison all politicians who are accused of filling their pockets,or is that just reserved for democrats.

Lad, my point was that Ms. O'Donnel has been in the private sector and not on the government teat like the perfumed prince biden. She is getting pilloried by the ones who live in glass houses. My further point is to elucidate for you the entrenched corruption that biden has imersed himself in and instead of being put in prison, he is elevated to 2nd in command of the USA....To sum it up I will take some newcomer like O'Donnel rather than another entrenched politician who will just go to business as usual.

Two wrongs don't make a right Mman. It appears to be a shoddy deal that Biden undertook and I bet it would be hard to find a politician who did not use or abuse his/her position for personal gain. I personally knew a senator (Ireland)who entered the Seanad with the seat out of his pants(to represent the dispossessed) and 3 years later he's living in the lap of luxury.Politics seems to be a fast track to Nirvana. I bet the small government tea party pollies would be know different to the rest and there lies elephant in the room.What pork barreling will they agree to enhance their position.Whose block of land will they procure?Power certainly corrupts and absolute power etc. As a former police chief when asked the question "when doe's a cop cross the line?)."When he accepts that first free drink or cheap service for his car? What can you offer me (I offer you)that would take us over the line. It's not how it's how much.

So we can demean a candidate for having to struggle in the private sector with financial problems, yet place the senator whose seat she is running for on some sort of untouchable pedestal. Just look at bidens business dealings with the same companies he is supposed to be protecting us from.

Former senior senator from Delaware and current Vice President Joe Biden has a custom-built house in Delaware’s ritziest Chateau Country neighborhood. Biden tapped campaign funds to pay for his compound’s lawn needs. He secured the new estate with the help of Biden’s top campaign donor, credit card giant MBNA. In 1996, Biden sold his previous mansion to MBNA Vice Chairman John Cochran. The asking price was $1.2 million. Cochran forked over the full sum. Biden then paid $350,000 in cash to real estate developer Keith Stoltz for a 4.2-acre lakefront lot. Stoltz had paid that same amount five years earlier for the undeveloped property. Stoltz told the Wilmington News Journal that “the residential real estate market was soft” at the time he sold the land to Biden. But “soft” for whom? Stoltz was a well-off businessman who didn’t appear to be in such dire financial straits that he needed to unload the property quickly in a weak market. Reporter Byron York looked at comparable properties in Biden’s neighborhood and found three cases where homes in the area went “for a good deal less than their appraised value. In comparison, it appears Cochran simply paid Biden’s full asking price.” Biden’s office denied any sweetheart deals took place, but York noted that it appeared MBNA indirectly helped Cochran buy the Biden house through six-figure executive compensation funds listed as moving expenses and losses suffered on the sale of his previous home. These arrangements were simply a continuation of Biden’s decades-long, Beltway business-as-usual relationships with a deep-pocketed corporate benefactor — which, by the way, later hired his son. Nice nepotism, if you can get it.

Lad...it must have been a technical glitch as this site leaves a lot to be desired, such as letting you know how new or old the subjects are without having to click on them and scroll to the bottom...Oh well as long as there isn't any taxpayer money funding this site I don't care...But come november lad....come november I will be hanging ten on the crest.

Interesting to note that the rats are leaving the obama sinking ship...Lets hear your spin on this one Dennis. Why are the main two puppetmasters of the obama administration, rahm emmanuel and david axelrod resigning? Any truth to the rumors impeachment moves will be on the menu come next January?...Rumor has it the justice department scandals are bubbling just under the surface. Punitive and malicious prosecution of law enforcement officials and states(AZ), selective prosecutions of civil rights violations(ignoring black panther voter intimidation charges) and the list goes on and on. Think holder will be the next one? Lets see, all of his top economic advisers have left and gone back to college to teach the poor mush heads coming up, how to add 2 2 and get 5. Time for the very ill timed social experiment to come to an end.

I haven't heard of any, NOT even 1, PoliticalScumBag that deserves a Vote from an American. Percentage wise, few bother to get out and vote anyway! (I do) For sure though, every Muslim and every Illegal immigrant will (vote)! Wonder how many 'Witches' will vote? lol America is Morally Bankrupt and even worse, We the SHEEPle no longer care!
