Rand Paul has stated that he is in favor of building an underground electrified fence to stop immigrants coming in to America from Mexico.
Speaking to Russian television he said "Millions crossing our border without our knowledge constitutes a clear threat to our nation's security. I will work to secure our borders immediately. My plans include an underground electric fence, with helicopter stations to respond quickly to breaches of the border.
With leaders like these no wonder the Republican Party is in the toilet with Hispanic voters.
Electrified fences would ensure lots of dead bodies of women and children if they tried to cross, just the type of image that America needs in the world.
He also wants children of undocumented to no longer be considered Americans --in direct violation of the 14th Amendment.
The anchor baby argument put forward by Paul and others is ridiculous. A child has to attain the age of 21 before they can claim in a parent.
Paul already is on record opposing the 1964 Civil Righs Act that gave Blacks equality, now he wants fried Mexicans as a tasty desert to his main course of keeping Blacks out.
This guy is the future of the Republican Party?
God Help us all.

Guinnes girl: The way "amnesty was justified and explained at the time it was done during the Reagan years was that it was a one time occurrence for 3 million, never to be repeated. No illegal entries would be tolerated again and there were no social services like there are today. Now it is estimated there are 20 million and thousands more pouring across every day, many of them draining our social welfare system. Enough is enough. Come in legally or get the hexx out.

An "Electronic Fence" doesn't constitute a "Electrifed Fence". It is a electronic "detection" fence of ground sensors, that can "feel" weight,or sound, and determine weither it's a goat, or Coyote leading a group of people across our boarders illegally. This piece is a delibrate distortion of Mr Rand Paul, and presents a socialist spin worthy of the former Soviet Union.

I wonder if all those screaming "no amnesty" did as much prostesting against it when Ronald Reagan gave amnesty?

Bring back the Bracero program for itinerant farmworkers. It worked superbly until the labor unions/democrats shut it down for political purposes.

Whether people want to admit it or not, Mexicans are the backbone of America. They milk the cows, harvest the crops and do all the jobs Americans wouldn't be caught dead doing. Our crops would rot on the vines without them.

People who come here to sell their services are prohibited by law from organizing labor unions to demand a fair wage. The Catholic Church calls this "oppression of the poor" and "defrauding working people of their earnings." Both of these practices are grossly immoral - to the point that the Church says they "cry out to Heaven for vengeance." Viva Cardenal Mahony!
