Bleeding heart types. This has stuck in my head, probably as you throw it around so much! I really should be flattered as the only bleeding hearts you see are the Sacred heart of Jesus and Mary!! Suppose they did think of all people as equal, that is the foundation of christianity! shame not all the religious folks would continue such a practice!

Israel has lost the public relations battle over this, not to mention it has had South Africa, Turkey, Equador recall their ambassadors and Nicaraguga has broken off diplomatic relations. Greece suspended military exercises, Swedish dock workers refused to handle Israeli goods for a week. Israeli commentator Ronen Bergman has stated that "it is not that Israel was outmaneuvered in the media but that the problem was with the product, you cannot market occupation"

What ridiculous gitmo accusation. Numerous people have been picked up in non conflict situations, the USA have admitted BUYING suspects who have been apprehended by Pakistan forces (bit like slavery in one sence being arrogant enough to BUY a human being). THese people as human have a right to face charges before a court! Fundamentally you yanks have your "right to bare arms" and then get upset when any one else attempts to exercise the same right! Face fact we are all human, with red blood who need food and water to survive. You are no better than me or any other person on this planet. Every race or religion of people have an element who will commit crimes or be "bad" people. Your generalisations of people who have a different view show a lot about your intolerance!

Ahhh Mairead, I burned you on your ridiculous Gitmo accusations, so you run back to your Israeli safety net. You had an HONORS thesis. WHOA! I guess that make you an expert. I had an honors thesis on the myths of global warming. That doesn't make me an expert on the subject. I'm flattered you felt you have to give me you resume though. Oh, and to answer your first question; yes, I was there. TWICE. I did two tours in OEF in Afghanistan, and I will bet you $1 million that you were not. So you "Honors thesis" is basically null in the matters of which you have no life experience. You have ZERO knowledge about the goings on at Gitmo. That is why you bleeding heart types are so quick to worry about the "right" of murdering jihadist terrorists. Why don't you open a mosque at your house and let them come worship with you.

OK Irishwxman how do you know I am wrong? were you there? And were you there when the Israelis shot those 9 people on May 31? I know because I have completed an Honours thesis on the topic!!!!!!!!!! I know because neither the AUstralian or American government denied it when his family went public with teh information. Just because you do not like something does not mean it does not exist!!!! Just because you disagree does not make a comment wrong!! BTW shuvonn - he only resorts to name calling when he cannot argue with teh logic of the discussion!!

Someones mammy did not teach them that you may come across people in your life that will disagree with you, and when that happens there is no need to stoop to name calling, it negates your point and makes YOU look bad. I love how you all think you know so much about Gitmo and the terrorist that have been captured. never in my life have I seen so many people that are so sympathetic to a bunch of cold blooded murderers. They all want death to America or anyone who allies themselves with America, and all you hippies want to do is give them some TLC. As if that will make them change their course. Is this what today's Irish have become? I weep for the future.

David Hicks (not that i expect you know who that is) was given to the yanks by pakistan for cash! he was then held in GITMO for over 5 years without charge!!! And no more American economy! Guess you will blame us liberals if you lose the world cup too!!

No!...Do not spin here. Liberals are pros at that. You said, and I quote, "If Israel is convinced that any one is terrorist they should arrest them and try them in a court of law!! (As should the US)" Your words. "As should the US" The US should not and will not try any terror suspect captured on the battle field in a civilian court and provide him with constitutional rights. And as for "those liberals in Washington" Their days are numbered. 4 months left to push their agenda and then they are gone. No more forced healthcare, no more cap and trade, no more stimulus packages, and no more wealth redistribution.
