Conservative columnist and commentator George Will has slammed Sarah Palin saying she should not be trusted with nuclear weapons.

Will was speaking on ABC yesterday and his damning words, coming from the right, may give many people pause.

Here is what he said:

"Two things are infinite. One is the expanding universe, and the other is media attention to Sarah Palin, who is a genius at manipulating it. But she has several political problems. The first of which is there's no undecided vote in this country anymore about Sarah Palin. Sure, second, the threshold question, not usually asked, but it’s in everyone’s mind in a presidential election. ‘Should we give this person nuclear weapons?’ And the answer [in Palin's case], answers itself"

Will and other GOP heavyweights are suddenly running very scared that Palin is a legitimate contender.

She represents their worst nightmare, a grassroots candidate who owes the old bulls in the GOP nothing and who is prepared to say so.

Sarah Palin is actually looking better and better because of Will and others attacking her.

She is showing that she has the real handle on how to shake things up in America, even within her own party.

That is why Will and company are so scared.

Time for this one to get back on the bus to nowhere.
give her the scissors, let her run. . .
Yankee, scott and the American military. All great minds think alike. The two headed coin has out lived it's usefulness and a return to the original Republic as it was meant to be is in the very near future. It's not inching forward anymore, it's growing by leaps and bounds.
Yankee724 - I think I'm going to throw up!
@billito - Bush actions were approved by congress, in accordance with the War Powers Act. Obama's have not been.
Palin will only answer Dorothy Dixers she has no substance, no mettle, no guts.
@pilib04: You & I may not agree on politics, but I agree with you completely that Sarah Palin is shaking up the Republican establishment. For too long, the two party system in the U.S. has been two sides of the same coin.
@McNamara31: Sarah Palin has a contract with Fox News. They pay her to be exclusive. Besides, why would she (or anyone) want to talk to a news outlet that derides you? I wouldn't.
Palin is already starting civil war among the Republicans. But she is only doing what the teabaggers want her to do. Republican establishment should not be surprised. Palin would be the best thing possible for the Re-elect Obama campaign. The President can't lose with her in the race.
Aughavey that's Hillary's in 2016
Anybody would be better than the idiot we have now.
the palinbots refer to palin's alaska show as SPAK. that's the perfect name for her. i think i shall call her Spak from now on
scott1960 "obviously you don’t know the difference between intelligence and smart" Then why is it that both Palin and her handlers only allow her to give interviews to members of the team like "Fox New".
This article is spot on. For many years, the GOP and Dems have been two sides of the same coin – dragging the U.S. towards socialism and an all-consuming government. Sarah Palin doesn’t play that game, and it frightens the established elites that she may be a serious contender. Those with power and access to money never give up without a (bloody) fight. For those who deride Sarah Palin on her intellect, obviously you don’t know the difference between intelligence and smart. No one knows everything, and anyone speaking frequently in public will make mistakes – just like Obama during the campaign saying he visited 57 states and had one more to go – or mispronouncing ‘corpsman’ – or signing the year as 2008 in his recent trip to the UK. And he is supposed to be the smartest president ever?
Ok..really? you actually think that Sarah, who hasn't a brain in her head is qualified to be President of the USA? I can't see it in a million years. I am of the same party as she is and I can tell you from my many friends opinion at various GOP functions, normally intelligent people will never vote her in. That would be insane. She has some crazy Tea Party people who adore her, but they are not a majority nationally, not by far.
