You'd think, if you were running for the Senate, that you'd make sure you spelled the state's name correctly.
Not so for the Coakley campaign up in Massachusetts which has released an ad spelling the state as Massachusettes.
One can only wonder which staffer is currently being chewed out of the office for this howler!

A spelling mistake is not as bad as some of the blatant lies some politicians have told to millions of people.

That's a common mistake. I've spelled it that way myself. Now if they spelled it Massachewsetts.....
