The 22-year-old actress - who separated from her 'High School Musical' co-star in December after five years of dating when work commitments got in the way of their romance - is reportedly "having a blast" and is enjoying being single.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "She has been having a blast hanging out with friends. She isn't really missing him."
The brunette beauty was recently spotted stocking up on cases of beer at her local store and allegedly told owners she was in the mood for a party.
The source said: "She said she was having a party and she was really excited."
However, Vanessa recently admitted she hadn't ruled out the possibility of getting back together with the 'High School Musical' hunk in the future.
She said: "We're still friends. Who knows what the future will bring? We're figuring things out."
