Siobhan Magnus sails into the final 12 of 'American Idol'

Siobhan Magnus moved on to the final 12 of this season's "American Idol" as her name begins to be mentioned more and more as one of the contestants who has what it takes to win the competition outright.

Magnus built on last week's phenomenal performance of "Think," by Aretha Franklin with a very strong rendition of The Animals classic "The House of the Rising Sun."

Ok, so Simon Cowell wasn't enthralled by her version of the song, but the newly engaged music mogul is a hard man to please at the best of times.

Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi all gave her the thumbs up though, as did the voting public.

Next week the finalists have to sing a Rolling Stones song. I have a feeling that Magnus will be especially inspired by St. Patrick's week and blow the judges away again, Simon included!

No matter what SIMON will say against SIOBHAN he cannot changed the mind of her solid fan the more he criticized SIOBHAN the more people will RALLY behind HER. We are seeing the resurgent of COOK v ARCHULETA, TIM URBAN OF SANJAYA These are the contestant that simon always dumped everyweek to his dismay always comes back. Simons favorite or CHOICE is always doomed to loose people just hate SIMON.

Oh I think she’ll be around for quite a while. Like to hear her do Tumbling Dice or Beast of Burden. The Dad has an AC/DC look going on doesn’t he!
