Four goals in a productive second half gave Celtic its sixth consecutive win the the SPL and possibly rekindled Neil Lennon’s chances of being made full time manager of the Hoops.

It was also good day for the Irish as Aiden Mcgeady, Darren O’Dea and Robbie Keane all got on the score sheet against Motherwell.

Aiden McGeady broke the deadlock just after the interval with an exquisite chip in the 49th minute.

In the 79th minute, Darren O’Dea scored from a deft header from a McGeady cross to make it 2-0.

James Forrest came in as substitute for McGeady and capped his debut with a goal in the 87th minute before Robbie Keane rounded off the scoring with a good finish for his 16th goal in a Celtic shirt.

The performance sets up the Bhoys nicely for the final Old Firm game of the season on Tuesday at Celtic Park.
