Shock wins for Louth, Sligo in All Ireland football championship

Louth pulled off a famous victory against Kildare by 1-22 to 1-16 to reach the Leinster semi-final for the first time in 15 years.

They will now face the winners of Westmeath and Wicklow and appear to have an excellent chance of their first Leinster final since 1960.

Meanwhile in Connacht, Sligo pulled off a major shock defeating Mayo by 0-15 to 1-8 to reach the Connacht semi-final where they will meet Galway
