The Reserves team suffered their first defeat of the season, losing, 5-0 to Hoboken's second team. The game kicked off at 4pm, but things just didn't go the lads way on the evening, with some players sporting injuries.

Lansdowne Bhoys were back in action against Hoboken at home in Tibbets park on Sunday last.

Lansdownes first team followed at 6pm against Hoboken's first team. The boys displayed hard work and determination to reward themselves with their second win of the season.

Despite not having team captain, Declan Reilly on hand to stop the opposition from scoring, Lansdownes defense succeeded in not conceding any goals.

The boys came away with a 3-0 win with team manager, Austin Friel finding the net in the first fifteen minutes. Papa Thioune followed, scoring his third goal of the season for team shortly before half time and Sean Purcell got the third in the last few minutes of the game.

The local soccer team dominated the game from start to finish. They completed the game as comfortable, deserving winners and hope to keep the winning spirit up.
