The photographs are very informative and telling...I did not realize that the English landlords were still evicting the peasants in the 1880's..I thought that had ended by then...none of the children in the photos have shoes, which i understand was quite common...we are descended from the strongest of those people, the ones who could not be beaten, starved or abused to death....
