The bowler hats are at it again!

The Orange Order in Ireland has called on its members to protest the Pope's upcoming visit to England.

And it says that anyone welcoming Pope Benedict XVI in September should be warned that they are acknowledging "his primacy and universal supremacy as Vicar of Christ on earth."

Well that's that then.

The Grand Orange Lodge says it recognizes the Pope's right to visit but says it must object on Biblical grounds.

Apparently the Lodge doesn't mind the Pope paying a visit to his flock because it "recognises the civil and religious rights of all."

Well, not to take a cheap shot lads, but if you recognize the civil and religious rights of all why are you protesting?

Just asking like.
