A new take on Tennessee Williams’ “A Glass Menagerie”

\"\"

“He’s a true artist who can exist in any medium and I think he’s crafted a definitive performance of this character. He was born to play this part.”

Keenan Bolger reveals her greatest challenge going into this production was to find the truth of her character.

“My director John Tiffany (whose recent credits include the Tony winning Once, The Musical) told us that we would make the production we wanted to make. People may or may not like it but we can say that we made the production that we wanted to make. In rehearsal it felt like we were making a new play. It just turned out that people loved it!”

The Glass Menagerie is playing in previews at the Booth Theatre, 222 West 45th Street from September 5. For tickets visit Telecharge.com or call 212-239-6200.
