Liam Neeson looks bright-eyed and young at 'Next Three Days' premiere

The Irish acting star is well known for his rugged looks, but Liam Neeson was looking fresh faced at the opening night of his new movie in New York on Tuesday.

Liam stars as an escaped convict in the new flick which also stars Russell Crowe and Olivia Wilde.

Appearing outside the Ziefield Theatre in New York, Liam looked healthy and dashing in cream cords, a black turtle neck and a matching black leather jacket.

“Next Three Days” tells the story of a Pittsburgh married couple played by Russel Crowe and Elizabeth Banks, whose life is turned upside down when Banks is accused of murder. Crowe plays a professor who goes to extreme measures as he attempts to free his wife from prison. Neeson plays an escaped prisoner who offers advice to Crowe's character on how to free his wife.

The blockbuster opens on November 19th in the U.S.
