Yes, this headline is correct!

Lady Gaga- the gal that comes across as confident and sassy and wears clothes that scream "look at me" got a dose of stage fright just before she was to appear on stage with Oprah on Monday night.

Apparently Gaga, who admitted last month she gets bouts of insomnia, locked herself in her dressing room before she was scheduled to go on stage at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday.

There were over 700 guests including, Taylor Swift, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lopez in attendance.

A source told the New York Post: "She literally wouldn't come out."

There was a lot of ructions back stage.

Friends and music executives did their best to coax the diva our of the dressing room but to no avail.

It took artist Terence Koh and Oprah herself to get the rock star on stage.

When she finally did get on stage, Gaga told the crowd that gala organizer, Anna Wintour - Vogue editor- asked her not to use foul language.

Said Gaga, "I'll never forget when Anna Wintour called me to play at this event, she called me and said, 'I would like you to play at the Met gala, but I just want to make sure, because I've seen you perform before, that you won't be swearing during the performance.' So Anna, I will do my f**king best!"

Classy lady!
