Staunton has spent much of the spent much three years criss-crossing the U.S. organizing Irish American community leaders in many states to help lobby for the Irish.
The ILIR's tireless grassroots outreach work paid off earlier this year when the White House invited 80 Irish American leaders from around the USA to ask for their input and help on passing Immigration reform.
