25,000 people attend a pro-life rally in Dublin to protest new abortion laws.

Fine Gael party chairman Charlie Flanagan has compared anti-abortion extremists to the Ku Klux Klan is response to Fine Gael TDs being personally targeted by the campaigners.

The Irish Independent reports that the anti-abortion campaigners are putting up posters outside TDs homes, offices, and churches. The posters usually have a picture of the TD along with the Fine Gael logo and a picture of a fetus in its mother's womb. The posters do not have any marks to identify who produced the poster.

Flanagan criticized the practice on Twitter, saying: "Abortion posters with FG TDs appear in the night. Nobody admits to putting them up. Promoters hide their faces. Just like KKK."

Flanagan said he won't be intimidated by "faceless bullies who peddle deception and lies under the cover of darkness."
