A spoksman for our favourite Irish hero Liam Neeson has denied he was back in action this week but this time as a real life hero.

The actor's rep has denied he saved a stray dog from a group of teenage boys that were attacking it. Media reports said the real life action hero charged down ‘Three gangbanger wannabe types who were throwing rocks at a stray they’d cornered up against a trash bin,’ a source told ShowbizSpy.com.

“Liam yelled that they’d better stop or he’d knock the c*** out of them – but the punks just swaggered up and warned him to mind his own business.’’

After finally chasing off the youths “Liam just shook his head and approached the shivering dog, stroking it while the policeman assessed its injuries,” a source said.

The officer apparently then ‘thanked the star and told him, “I’ll take it from here, sir!”

Great story but not true says the man himself.

Weird!

Liam has recently been active in his support of New York’s horse-drawn carriage industry, which Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to shut down.
