Commander Chris Hadfield, the Irish-loving Canadian astronaut who gained a massive Irish following for posting constant tweets, photos and videos during his time on the International Space Station, is planning a visit to Dublin.

Hadfield will visit Ireland as part of his book-signing tour this winter, reports The Daily Edge. He will be in town to promote the release of his new book, "An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth." He will also probably visit his daughter Kristen, a PhD Psychology student at Trinity College Dublin.

Dubbed "Commander Cool," Hadfield was recently given a Lord Mayor's Award for tweeting in Gaeilge.
