Imam calls for Sharia Law in all business dealings

The U.S. Embassy in Dublin has sponsored a seminar on Muslim entrepreneurs and business in Ireland. A main point of the conference was the need for Sharia law compliant financial products to be used.

The U.S. Embassy supported the conference as part of President Obama’s outreach to Muslims around the world.

Ambassador Dan Rooney congratulated the organizers on Wednesday and said that the U.S was “solid partners” in the venture.  He gave a copy of President Obama’s book   “The Audacity of Hope “ to  Imam Hussein Halawa, of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, who opened the event.

At the conference, Thomas Cooney, academic director of the Dublin Institute of Technology, stated that 76 per cent of Muslim business people in Ireland say securing finance is their biggest problem and 90 per cent said there is a need for financial products  to be compliant with Islamic law. 

There are 45,000 Muslims in Ireland and Islam is the third largest religion reported on census forms.

Imam Hussein Halawa said the Muslim culture was deeply dependent on ethics in business and that the paying or charging of interest on loans was forbidden.

“The Islamic objective is to avoid all transactions leading to disharmony among people,” he said.

Tayyibah Taylor, the founder of the American Muslim women’s magazine Azizah, said Islam was more than a religion, it was a way of life.

“If you would feel uncomfortable about having the activity you are doing spread across the front page of a newspaper, you shouldn’t do it,” she said.

I think 45,000 muslims in Ireland is far to few. Ireland should import at least 10,000,000 more. I think Ireland definately should abolish the judicial system and replce it with sharia law. Then they could cut the hands off all the Irish thieves. The only problem would be who would have to pick the the nose or scratch the ass of those whose hands were cut off. I guess sharia law takes care of that.

This is really great that Ireland is considering opening it's economic doors to Sharia law. too many people in the world are worried about Muslim extremists but the Irish are a welcoming people and they will reap the rewards of an eventual Islamic Republic.

Well, beware. Before long they might want to build a mosque on christchurch. If they want Sharia law, then why come to Ireland. Go back to their own place of origins. Why cant they adapt to our culture rather than we have to adapt to a foreigners culture. Isn't it bad enough that we give them welfare, now we have to pander to thier whims too. We need to be like Australia and tell them to go back if they want Sharia laws.

just think of the music possibilities..such as: * the rose of ali * McMohammed'a band * o ali boy * Sharia once again some songs would have to be redone, like Galway Burqa, and even Galway Girl. and then, whaat about name chanjes, liqe Qerri, Qilqenny & Qildare; what about Qnoq? most importantly, this of the benefits of alqohol free Diet Guiness!

Obama is not insane as one person said. He is a devious son of a BITCH who knows exactly what he is doing. Why do we need to sponsor this meeting. It is for reasons like this that people question who he really is, where he really was born and what his real religion is. God save the USA and the World.

DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN GOOD PEOPLE OF IRELAND!! It is a step in the WRONG direction! Once they get a foothold, it's all downhill from there! Take a look at what's going on in other European countries BEFORE you even consider this happening in the beautiful country of Ireland! OMG! STOP NOW IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS!!

I found this what the Heck is USA doing this for? What the heck is Ireland doing this for ? Any other questions. And I ask you to please allow me to say that after posting the comment (that I assume you will see below) I re-read it, and not only saw my typo's.... but also also re-read the comments that had already been posted.... And based on that, I ask each and every one to forgive (understand) my Kimmage Dub. lingo, that express'es my love of Ireland feelings... and the fear as to what may be happening to and in our homeland..... As these Fn. "Muslims" may have an agenda that is based on a 50 or even 100 year goal... Do we want our great-grandchildern living under Islam??? For me, I say NO!!! NOT YESTERDAY, NOT TODAY... For goodness sakes, they still charge interest, they just call it something else (so much of islam is really about the appearance of "religiosity" rather than substance). It's all a sham anyway. The REAL purpose of "shariah finance" is to insinuate Imams and other islamic clerics (generally affiliated with the muslim brotherhood) into positions of influence and power so they can direct the distribution of Zakat to all the various madrassas and "islamic charities" which underpin jihad (both the overt and covert varieties). It's all about advancing the imposition of shariah and the creation of parallel islamic societies. After all, islam must ALWAYS dominate and not be dominated.:) What a surprise that Obama and his politically correct minions are all for it.
