Ireland's army of Susan Boyle fans were today holding out hope that the Britain's Got Talent star would make the Irish shows on Tuesday June 30.
The hit TV show is on tour across Britain and Ireland but Boyle has missed several gigs ahead of Tuesday's show at the 02 arena in Dublin.
Up to 15,000 fans are expected to descend on the venue for the Irish leg of the tour.
Boyle, 48, shot to fame after her audition for the hit reality show but came a shock second at the show's finals in May.
She checked into the Priory, an exclusive clinic in London, where she was treated for exhaustion.
Since then she has failed to make several performances of the hit TV show tour and fans are concerned that the concert tour is taking too big a toll on the shy Scotswoman.
Boyle joined the first shows on the “Britain’s Got Talent” tour in Birmingham and Sheffield but failed to appear at subsequent shows in Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff and Nottingham.
Talent judge Simon Cowell has admitted that they may have done too much too soon with Boyle.
"She was still tired," a rep said. "With all the traveling the decision was made to have a rest until Sunday."
In Dublin, SuBo fan Moira Hegarty, 47, said she had been lighting candles in her local church for Susan.
"There's something about Susan that really moved me," she said. "I cried my eyes out when I heard that first performance when she did the audition."
"I still can't believe she didn't win. That dance group was rubbish. I think there was something wrong with the voting."
Her friend, Catherine Hartnett, 46, agreed. "It doesn't make sense that Susan didn't win. She was so clearly the better performer, even on the night."
Both friends are attending the concert at the O2 arena and say they are only going to see Boyle.
