Susan Boyle sang on the “Today” show this morning, marking her third American performance ahead of the release of her debut album, “I Dreamed A Dream.”

The Scottish singing sensation has come a long way since her “Britain’s Got Talent” debut, appearing extremely confident and polished looking on “Today.”

Matt Lauer introduced Boyle, who first performed the hit that made her famous: “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Mis.”

The singer, who wore a navy overcoat, red scarf and matching red nail polish, fed off the crowd’s reaction to her and played to her fans, shaking her scarf at them, urging them to make some noise.

As paparazzi continually snapped photos of the Scottish star, she went on to sing “Wild Horses,” which she originally performed on “America’s Got Talent.”

Backed by a full orchestra, Susan, who is nearly unrecognizable since she first appeared on “BGT,” knocked the performance out of the park.

She was in good spirits, doing her signature shake as she sang as fans, including one man waving a tiny Irish flag, cheered her on.

Soon she was back to sing another track off her new album, the blues ballad “Cry Me a River.”

Susan then thanked her fans for making her debut album the best-selling CD in Amazon pre-sales history.

The talented singer was a bit shyer while being interviewed by Lauer and Meredith Vieira.

Boyle said she’s been working hard since arriving in New York, and would love to take some time to look around.

The Scottish star said she had assistance choosing which songs would be included in her highly anticipated album, and a wide range of styles, from bluesy ballads to upbeat pop hits, were picked to appeal to a larger audience.

I got my cd yesterday, and am stunned--even though I knew it would be great. Susan is a great singer, not a good one. I am so excited to think of the future as she continues to explore her extraordinary talent.

Susan Boyle's debut album is absolutely stunning!!!
Why do we cry??? We cry for the beauty of Susan Boyle, her music is fantastic. She has the most beautiful voice and delivery of anyone, anywhere! I have played this over and over and she has brought a a feeling of calm and beaury. I love the way she plays to the crowd and I think that is how she muct relieve any anxiety she has while performing.
Hello good human Ms. Kelly, Me thinks the definition of happiness includes the stirring emotions that Susan ignites deep down, as we watch her achieving her dream. She triumphed at Rockefeller Square, soaring on I Dream, sultry & forlorn on Cry Me a River, riveting on Wild Horses. For a split second during one song, she seemed to have a furball that quickly passed--thank the maker! Raise your paw if you love Susan. Don't you all just want to squeeze her and hand-feed her favorites goodies. Oh joy, everyone's preorder CDs are arriving and soon we'll be toasting, celebrating and munching on makerel and Cheetos. Cheers from San Antonio, TX, Lovebites
