Susan Boyle is set to get her own TV special


Susan Boyle made a splash (or a tidal wave…) in the U.S. with her stateside debut on “America’s Got Talent” and performances on “Dancing with the Stars” and most recently, the “Today” show.

Now American SuBo fans will need to set their DVRs all over again: the Scottish singing sensation is getting her own original special on the TV Guide Network.

“I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story,” which will air on the heels of the release of Susan’s debut album, will follow the singer’s journey from the small village of Blackburn in Scotland to international fame and fortune after her incredible performance on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

The hour-long documentary, which will air on the TV Guide Network on Sunday, December 13 at 8/7c, will include interviews with Susan, her friends and celebrity fans.

The show will also feature performances by the Scottish star, who will sing alongside special guests.

I'm thrilled for Susan that she is having so much success becasue she really deserves it. Her new C.D. is stunningly beautiful. And it's not JUST the music but who she is that has endeared the world to her. I sure plan on being in Toronto when she visits in December to cheer her on.

TV documentarians were reportedly present during Susan's NYC performances filming Susan as well as number of her fans and others following the cultural phenomena known as Susan Boyle. Rarely has a single entertainment figure tapped into so many peoples thoughs & feelings and indeed it is worthy anytime they ALL are examined via filmed documentaries. For the documentarians "good hunting" and Emmies Galore if the documetary is nominated!
