Muslim website calls for 'Sharia' Islamic law in Ireland

The site is targeted at what it calls Irish "O'Muslims," the Muslim Public Affairs Council website, www.mpac.ie.

Sharia refers to the "way" Muslims should live or the "path" they must follow. Sharia is derived from the sacred text of Islam (the Koran) and traditions gathered from the life of the Islamic prophet Mohammed. Sharia deals with many aspects of life, including crime, politics, economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene, and social issues.

An editorial post says introducing Sharia is a patriotic duty.

"And who could doubt that establishing the authority of Allah in the land is in the best interests of Ireland?" it asks.

The site says it seeks "to remove injustice and establish fairness, to remove moral degradation, immorality and licentiousness and establish propriety, righteousness and restraint and to establish tawheed (the worship of the Only One worthy of worship) are surely noble Islamic aims."

In one article, entitled “21st Century Ireland - A man's world,” the author begs women to stick to one man and not dress provocatively.

"Instead of constantly trying to be better-looking than all the other girls in the club… instead of trying to impress a different bloke every weekend, is it not nicer to have that special someone," it asks. "Someone who will always think you're the best-looking girl… and that really doesn't want you wearing as little clothes as possible because it's not nice for you to be so cold. Is that not better?"

The website also described the recent crucifixion of a pedophile and murderer in Saudi Arabia as "justice."

MPAC spokesman Liam Egan, who goes by the Muslim name Mujaahid, said the independent website was not affiliated with the Irish Council of Imams or any other Muslim organization here and was run by a "volunteer group of indigenous Muslims".

"From a religious perspective we believe we represent a mainstream Islamic position... considering the specific content and its limited relevancy [a minority group in Ireland] we have witnessed an exponential rise in site hits, last month we had 269, 733," he told the Sunday Tribune.

Sadly this isn't a joke. European experience suggests accept sharia and mosque building wherever muslims want it, or they will pretend to be offended and violent intimidation begins. Well Ireland, if these nutjobs try that over here, lets remind them that we've got a history of nuttiness ourselves, especially when it comes to defence of our country!

You know, maybe the islamic faith would be good for Ireland, because, you know, it's worked out so WELL in the middle-east, raping young children and women, and killing anyone who doesn't believe or follow the great "allah's" teachings, oh yeah. I can see it working wonders for Irish Children and Women. Because they don't have enough to worry about already with the economy and education crisis. If they start terrorist activities in Ireland and the U.S. Military gets sent in to help the Irish fend off these invaders, you best believe I'm volunteering!!! Please Ireland, Please fight them off, don't give in!!!!

Indeed it has, Patrick...whether you're Protestant or Catholic (or neither one, as I am), Islam is a THREAT to the Ireland we know. It seeks our utter, unconditional destruction, and replacement with itself; it has openly, brazenly, verbally SAID SO. It is an alien, unwelcome, MALIGNANT presence, in Ireland.

Islam is evil. Its ally is secular humanism in all its myriad forms. Their common enemy is Christianity, freedom, and Biblical Judaism. whenever Islam gains ascendancy, they demand special treatment. Liberals grant it to torment Christians, religious Jews and free-men. We are all doomed if we do not repent.

Thanks for the info about Australia, pagasus514 -- now, wouldn't you LOVE to see Brian Cowen stand in front of the entire, assembled Daile and say the same stuff? It's about time these alien, Mohammadan interlopers on the Emerald Isle heard it, loud and clear (and it practically makes me SICK to even verbally acknowledge they're on Eire). Then, as a follow up (when the Muslims would inevitable start their protests and firebombings), RUN...THEIR...-SSES...OUT. Just hound them and herd them onto planes and ferries, and literally DRIVE them from the isle, just like the snakes were, in legend. Then scrub down and re-paint the dwellings they inhabited, and give them to needy IRISH people. A great and wonderful service to Eire, her people and her enduring culture, it would all be. Ahhhhhh. (Now if only it would REALLY happen...Brian Cowen, and/or any government officials -- are you reading this???)

Holy Jeyes fluid the next thing you know the country will be overrun with the Legion Of Allah now that the legion of Mary has gotten such bad press due to a few hundred thousand isolated incidents of bigoted old men abusing children that were trained to call them Father. Could god be the problem here folks? Could it be religion itself that is the spawning ground for intolerance and hatred that is washing over all our cultures and countries? When I think about the goings on, the ongoing genocide in apartheid Palestine or the "Holy Land" if you'll forgive the quip, then I am of a mind to cast all religions and their gods, funny hats and archaic rituals onto the pyre of human superstition and make toast if nothing else. A senior member of Australia's government has said Muslims who want to live by Islamic Sharia law are not welcome in the country. The comments have stoked Muslim anger against the Australian government. Australian Finance Minister Peter Costello said in a speech late Thursday that immigrants must respect the country's laws and traditions. Costello singled out Muslims who wanted to live under Sharia law as not welcome in Australia. In his speech on Australian citizenship, the minister said his remarks were directed at what he called a "small radical minority." "You don't have to swear at the football and eat a pie to be an Australian," he said, "but you do have believe in democracy, the rule of law and the rights and liberties of others." Earlier this week Prime Minister John Howard also addressed Islamic extremism, saying it violated Australia's principles. He pointed to contentious issues such as relations with non-Muslims and the rights of women. Australian Muslims have reacted with anger to both sets of comments. They accuse the government of being deliberately inflammatory and divisive. Keysar Trad, president of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, says Costello's comments are unnecessary. "He is singling out the Muslim community again," he said. "Rather than calling on all citizens to respect the law of the land and respect traditional values, he is making an inference in his comments that Muslims don't do that. Well, on the contrary, Muslims do respect the law of the land and do respect the values of this country." There are around 300,000 Muslims in Australia. Community leaders say racism toward this minority group has increased since the terrorist attacks in the United States The Irish should take a page from this book. These people are not "guests". They want to be conquerors.

This article opens with the words, 'An Irish Islamic website...' Excuse me -- 'IRISH ISLAMIC?!?' That is a contradiction. There is NO SUCH THING as 'Irish Islamic' -- that is a contradictory phrase, an oxymoron...which only an oxyMORON would believe. There should not be even a single, solitary muslim anywhere on Irish soil. That is a CANCEROUS, alien identity within Eire, which only seeks to transform Eire to IT, and NOT to conform, the other way around. Does anyone seriously think that a mid-eastern or Paki-born muslim in Eire is there to 'become Irish' (like they ever could, anyway)? Come on!

Western women in Muslim countries under SHARIA law are cained in the street if they do not conform to SHARIA laws on dress, perhaps following their fine example we should do the same to those who refuse to comply to western dress and law. These people are simply trying to press our buttons.The Ireland I know ,you would get your lights put out for looking the wrong way, now all we hear are these guest in our nation insulting everything we hold dear and getting away with it.I am far from a right winger but enough is enough!
