Casey Anthony, having been acquitted of the charges of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee, will walk free from prison on Sunday with a nearly $500 she has received from admirers. Although Anthony has been getting death threats she has also been received checks.

According to reports her admirers are concerned that she will have no money to spend on makeup and snack while she finishes her time in jail. Although most of her admirers are men, women have also been sending her checks.

Records at the Orange County Corrections Department show that at least 17 strangers have sent her money orders to Anthony but her parents haven’t sent her a dime since May 8.

Anthony now has $472.18 in her bank account. The average balance of an Orange County Jail inmate is $36.30.

ABC News contacted some of the donors who range from 19-year-olds to middle aged men and women. Some of them are banks and others have their own history with the law, including aggravated assault and sex offenses. Most of the donors are from the US and some from Canada.

One donor, Gary Bradfield, a 44-year-old man from Texas, even offered her a place to stay. He told ABC "If she ever did contact me and wanted to live in the middle of nowhere I have three houses out here...I'm scared for her."

In February of this year Bradfield donated $99.40 to Anthony to celebrate her birthday in March.
He explained "I know she was probably segregated from everybody else. I was like hell, she's got $32 in there. I'll send her a little bit of something. I believe that we're all innocent until proven guilty."

Bradfield, who now lives on a ranch in Texas, said that he feels a connection to Anthony as he also served time in jail during the 1990s. He said that he also understand how important it is for an inmate to have money in their account.

He said "She's just been sitting there accused and couldn't get out and is indigent...can't go to the store and get you a bag of chips and everybody else can and that's really demoralizing and she hadn't even had her day in court, you know."

A married father, he said that he had told his wife he donated money. He said she responded by saying "Why did you do that?" He believes that his wife had already judged Anthony.

While attempting to contact one of the male donors ABC spoke to his mother who screamed "He did what?"

A man in his late twenties who donated explained why he did it but would not release his name. He said "I do not know Casey personally, nor am I supporting her as a person, nor am I anything like the people sending her love letters and asking her to marry them. However, what I am supporting is the jury's decision to acquit based on lack of evidence failing to overcome the reasonable doubt standard."

He also said that he was disgusted by the invasion of Anthony's privacy. During the trial investigators spoke about their extensive searches on Anthony's computer and in her cell phone records. He felt that this infringed on her constitutional rights.

The donator called Anthony's trial a witch-hunt. He added "It's wrong to continue the character assassination on someone who was acquitted of a crime."

David R. Fulton Computer Repair company donated $25. Fulton said "I think she's innocent."
A 56-year-old Florida woman, Christy Davis, donated $40 dollars over the last two months. She said "I feel a little bit of a kindred spirit with Casey Anthony…I'm a regular person who saw the story through a different set of eyes."

She continued "The day that the story broke. … I said the baby got in the swimming pool."
Davis said she has never received a thank you from Anthony, in fact it seems that none of her admirers did. However Anthony will be leaving prison on Sunday with their money.

The report also said that she had spent her money in prison on shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, eyeliner, and ponytail holders, as well as snacks like premium chicken breasts, jalapeno nacho cheese dip and spicy peanuts.

Is Casey Anthony Innocent? Is the Moon made of green cheese? Ask enough people and someone will answer "yes" to both questions.
#1 The abuse defense insulted every abused person who survived their ordeal. Mostly because loving, *protecting* and caring for a child heals. You don't drop your kid off the abusers to par-tay. #2 This state has convicted murders with just blood evidence and no body. I am sorry to say that the prosecution really failed. The skank was lucky in having the perfect storm of crap to get away with killing a beautiful child. (Did anyone else notice the strong resemblce to the last boyriend) #3 Everyone screwed it up. The sociopath wrote in jail of how she wants kids and to adopt. One thing, where ever she lives, if the children's service don't take the child at the hospital it will happen again, or if say her brother has kids and Casey see the grandkids *hogging* the attention and being more cute than she was; people better stay close and guarded. I did like what one defense attorney said, "Casey Anthony is a very likable young woman." The same is said for narely all serial killers and diagnosed sociopaths. Like Ted Bundy for instance. On a last note, one comment was about how her privacy was invaded....really? They - Anthony's started the media frenzy. The warn you in jail you are being monitored. Jail is not a vacation. Also, it was estimated that $100,000 of thousands were made selling pics and interviews, and also gave a large chunk to the Attoney (gag, I just threw up a little). These people were living large and enjoying the fame. And Caylee was stuffed in garbage bags and a laundry bag like trash while Casey Anthony was reveling in being the story on the news.....save your sympathy for a more deserving peron.
YTF would any1 give a murderer money?! its bad enough shes getting out of jail...y reward her? I think death threats are more appropriet! I kno exactly where my 2 yr old is at ALL times! There is no excuss for her actions... when u have a baby, YOU r responsible, and YOU r the one the child looks to protect them...NOT kILL THEm!!! it makes me sick. Hope the dumb B*&@# burns in hell.
While many herein have their opinion as to her guilt,FACT is,We the SHEEPle will never know the actual thruth. That lies between Yahweh/God and herself. He real enemy is the Media whom will inflict much pain and sorrow as that is their goal!!! They will be everywhere and she'll not be able to hise and return to a sembalance of a 'normal' lifestyle. I wish her and her family well. The CrimeScumBag in prison just seeks his 15minutes of fame and we'll no doubt, give it to him!!! Sad, isn't it?
A guilty person is about to walk free, she can get all the plastic surgery she wants...eventually She will crash and burn, like OJ. in the meantime watch her get rich...
Is it just me or do others out there find this woman physically unattractive. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give her a 5 at best although I think she hovers around a 3. With regard to people 'showering her with gifts', I'm sure there are many more who'd like to 'shower' her with something else...
I wonder how much money Casey would've received had she been fat, 40, and unattractive. I can think of no logical reason why a loving, innocent mother would party for 31 days while her child was discarded like a piece of garbage. As an RN, I've seen many accidental deaths of children, including drownings in pools, and I've never seen any mother act the way Casey did. If my dad would've been involved in the death of my child, I can tell you for sure that I wouldn't have been out partying and getting a tatoo. I'd want to know what, why, and how this happened and my child would be getting a Christian burial.
land of suckage spews.
Some of us here have not only watched the trial on TV, but also watched the news on this case, AND seen and heard police interviews not entered into evidence. Having lost my oldest son years ago, I also find it INCONCEIVABLE that any mother not responsible for the death of her child would behave in the ways she did within moments/hours/days of the death. Her partying, hot body contests and lying to family/friends and police about her daughter is pretty strong circumstantial evidence of her guilt. Add to that the human decomp in her car (detected both by people and 2 different cadaver dogs) as well as one of Caylee's hairs in her trunk with a death band ..... She should have been convicted of AT LEAST manslaughter.
I dont have money to send. BUT I do believe Casy is innocent. There is a lot a unanswered questions. I also believe George knows a lot more about all of this.
These people make me sick!!!! And you know what? Her not even writing a thank you letter to these dumb people sending her money says it all!! It's all just about her and nothing but her, it always was and always will be!! I'm glad these ppl never got a thank you from taht evil witch..thats what they get for being stupid and sending money to a murderer!!! SMH..
Casey Anthony is regarded by many people as a beautiful damsel in distress, a tragic Joan of Arc who has suffered persecution from lynch-mobbers & witch-hunters. Public opinion seems to be turning in her favor.
