Bristol Palin picked a fight with the gay community and its supporters when she scoffed at President Obama for consulting with his daughters over gay marriage.

Now the pint sized political pundit claims she's getting death threats because of it.

According to the Daily News, Palin, the former Alaska governor's daughter, posted some screenshots of the hateful comments written on her site, including ones that suggested she 'kill' herself or ones that said 'may death be upon you,' and 'You all, including your son, deserve a slow, painful and miserable death.'

Palin, a 21 year old single mother, claims that the death threats only undermine the critics who are attacking her.

'Around Hollywood, there's lots of concern and great initiatives to try to encourage more kindness in this world,' she wrote. 'Then why do I get so many messages telling me I should die?'

Palin seemed to be blaming Hollywood for the insults she suffered after she suggested that the President was wrong to accept his daughters' views that gay couples deserve to enjoy equality with heterosexual couples.

After offering her opinion that that isn't the case, Palin then claimed she's the victim of 'bullying.'

'Here's a newsflash, guys. Your hate and bullying won't work,' she wrote. 'People see through it, and they don't like to be pushed around. You think it's completely obvious that you're right, but this younger generation is more pro-life than their parents, and voters just keep defending traditional marriage.'

Last week, after Palin sharply criticized Obama for saying his daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, had helped him reach his decision to support same sex-marriage.

Palin — an unlikely defender of traditional marriage, being a single mom who was never married herself — argued that children do best in homes where there is both a mother and a father, although there are no statistics to support this claim.

On Monday, Palin vowed she will not be deterred by the latest threats. 'Keep sending the hate, but realize that hate doesn't win arguments,' she wrote.

The latest scrap will keep Palin in the headlines whilst she gears up for a new reality show about her life called "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp."

The 14-episode show will begin broadcasting on June 19 and will follow the life and times of Bristol and her 3-and-a-half-year-old son, Tripp, from their hometown in Wasilla, Alaska, to Los Angeles, where Palin takes a job with a nonprofit.

Adelia King's opinion is no more valid than anyone else on this site. Bristol is barely a child with an immature point of view. Her "Christian values" are as shallow as her mothers grasp on politics
Bristol Palin has the same right to express her opinions as anyone else, opinions that are based on the Holy Bible, which is the word of God. Bristol's support for the unborn and male-female marriages is the same as that of Adelia King, niece of the famous Civil Rights leader, who is also severely condemned for her position on these issues.
Single unwed mothers are my go to source for questions about fidelity and commitment in marriage.
The kindness and love continues to flow on these tolerant liberal comments.
Please press. Stop quoting a high school graduate who didn't follow her own advice on chastity, but had sex with her boyfriend and got pumped up like a nickel balloon. We don't care what she says and we DON'T WANT TO HEAR WHAT SHE SAYS. She needs to stop lecturing others and go make something of herself.
Did someone mark her forehead with one of her mothers cross hairs. A "heterosexual loving family" did not save Bristol from a her unchristian behavior in bringing an unwanted child into the world. To be fair I do not doubt that the child is now loved.
Like mother, like daughter -- victims when they wanna be, hypocrites the rest of the time.
please stop putting this wannabe kardashian clan in this fine paper. We get more than is bearable in the U.S.I will foreverdisrespect J. Mcain for unleashing this talentless crew on our country. They are an embaressment, no matter what political party you belong !!!
while she has the right to her opinion, i feel she was DISRESPECTFUL to the office and i DON'T agree with her getting death threats over it....and i DON'T feel she has room to talk about parenting skills. alisa
Another wing nut Palin Republican trying to get her 15 minutes of fan, now she has opened a can of worms and was not expecting any retrubution. Don't get me wrong I don't condone anyone who threatens anyone but if you are going to play with fire you are going to get burnt. Conorsmom I agree 100% with your comment. I also agree that these so-called no it alls should be left off of this thread, there are far more intellegent people we can read about and maybe that would eliminate murph46 from here.
Why is this on Irish Central?? The girl is like a rash, the more your scratch it, the more it will stick around! She and her family are almost as bad as the Kardashians when it comes to self promotion!
Just who the F is sarah palin?
I think she should be ignored. She is not one to talk. Please dont put stories like this in Irish Central
The problem is that the US has an inordinate share of nutjobs that ACT on crazy comments. What is hyperbole for most is the whisper of God in their ear for them.
Romney's candidate for VP?
