Susan Boyle has surprised her millions of fans by recording the Rolling Stones classic “Wild Horses” for her debut album.

An audio copy of her singing the new song for her new album was obtained by IrishCentral and is spreading around the Internet.

The song is certainly a departure for Boyle, who is known to sing Broadway classics and religious-themed songs.

However, her voice soars to an extraordinary decibel on the song, which is part of her “I Dreamed a Dream” album.

The song is from the 1971 Stones album “Sticky Fingers” and was voted one of the greatest songs of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Susan Boyle's album is already a best seller, leading the pre-sales chart on Amazon.com ahead of The Beatles rerelease of their “Abbey Road” album and Whitney Houston's new album.

The lyrics to the song, like her signature "I Dreamed a Dream" from the Broadway hit "Les Miserables," seem true to her sense of herself and her life:

Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted, I bought them for you
Graceless lady, you know who I am
You know I can't let you slide through my hands

Wild horses couldnt drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away

I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter, or treat you unkind

Wild horses couldnt drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away
