Siobhan Magnus ‘American Idol’ star returns home to Cape Cod

Having taken television and radio chat shows by storm over the last week Siobhan Magnus the Irish “American Idol” contestant has returned home to Cape Cod.

Yesterday she finished up her hectic weeklong media tour by visiting the New York Presbyterian Hospital to sing and play the piano for patient. That was according to her friend’s twitter account, “Team Siobhan” in Barnstable, Cape Cod.

Her father, Alan, told the Cape Cod Times today that Siobhan was very tired, has a cold and is resting. The Cape Cod Times asked if they could see her but Alan said she was not at home.

It is no wonder that Siobhan is taking some time out of the limelight. Since being voted off “American Idol” last week Siobhan has appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Wendy Williams Show” and “Access Hollywood”.

This is time off well deserved before she begins the “American Idol Reunion Tour” this summer.

She's remarkable. We can learn a lot from her on how to handle stress. Very mature and talented young lady. I only voted once and it was for her.
